KidsHey! I am Matt Patch. I first became involved in missions in 2009 when I went on the World Race, an 11-month, 11-country pilgrimage around the world.  After the World Race I felt called to return to Kenya to begin a long-term ministry. I’m really passionate about discipleship and helping people recognize and step into their identity and calling.

My dream was to empower Kenyan believers to minister to their own people. In 2012 I started 61project as a discipleship program. 61project ministered to  hundreds of people within the Maai Mahiu community through bi-weekly evangelism and service outreach, after school programs, and educational sponsorships.

In December 2015 I turned a majority of the leadership of 61project over to the local staff as I joined an organization called Oasis for Orphans. Initially, I did this part-time until I along with our staff felt God calling us to join O4O full-time. My family and I packed our bags and headed west, well southwest.
